AI agents
AI agents that take on a job and see it through
A whole job, done.
The record written up.
Monolith Agents builds AI agents for businesses across Australia and overseas. An agent takes on a whole piece of work, works to your rules and reports back what it did. It can run an inbox, work a follow-up list, chase invoices or keep a marketing calendar moving, and it hands the moments that need judgement to a person.
01The work
Where agents earn their keep
The work that suits an agent has a shape to it. It repeats every week, it needs some judgement about what to say and when, and it sits between your team and the customer or the paperwork.
An agent does the whole job rather than waiting for instructions. Whatever it works on, it works to your rules and reports back on what it did.
The jobs we build them for
- Inbox and calendar: triage, drafted replies, meeting prep and loose ends chased
- Sales follow-up: every enquiry worked, every quote followed up and the next step booked
- Accounts: invoices chased over email and message on a schedule, with what comes back reconciled
- Marketing: the calendar planned, the posts drafted and a report on what worked
02How it works
What sits behind the agent
The part that does the real work is the knowledge it holds. Your services, your rules, what it should quote, where its limits are and when to stop and ask. We build that knowledge with you and it stays editable as the business changes.
Everything the agent does is written down. What it handled, what it said and what it handed over. Your team gets a short summary when they are free, and anything that needs a decision arrives with the full story attached.
Pick the job
One clear piece of work with a start, a finish and a definition of done.
Write the rules
We work out with you what it should do, what it should quote and where it stops.
Run it and report
It works the job on its own and reports what it did, in writing, every time.
Adjust as you learn
Rules get tightened as real work shows where they are loose. We handle that.
03Where it fits
Agents alongside the rest of the system
Agents cover the work that needs judgement. The AI receptionist handles the front door of calls and messages, business process automation runs the fixed sequences that never vary, and the services page shows where each one sits.
For the difference between an agent and a chatbot, the comparison is set out in chatbots versus AI agents. AI voice agents explained covers the spoken side.
04Questions
The questions people ask first
A chatbot answers questions in a box. An agent takes on a piece of work and finishes it, working to rules and reporting back on what it did.
Everything is written down as it works. You see what it handled, what it said and what it handed over, so the work is auditable after the fact.
Anything outside its rules goes to a person instead of being guessed at. When something does slip, the record shows it plainly and the rule gets tightened.
It depends on how much the agent has to know. A focused single-job agent is quick to get live and the timeline comes with the quote in writing.
